While purchasing diamonds is both exciting and thrilling, the experience can often be stressful and overwhelming. Knowing what to look for and the right questions to ask can be intimidating. Beyond the size and cost there are a lot of things to consider! What are the Four C’s? What’s florescence and does it matter? Should you buy a natural or lab grown diamond? The Four C’s of Diamonds

The most common tool used to talk about a diamond is a series of scales about the various qualities of the stone called the Four C’s of Diamonds. This covers Cut, Carat, Color, and Clarity. While our associates are happy to educate you anytime in store about all you need to know about diamonds, if you want to know where to start your diamond education right now, we’ve provided a Four C’s crash course below from the Gemological Institute of America!
